Robert V. Vallar, MD, is a 1985-graduate of SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in New York City, NY. His postgraduate training includes his ophthalmology residency served at Nassau County Medical Center (1985-1989), where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Vallar performed his retina-vitreous diseases and surgery fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX, in 1996.
